1) SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT

Tasks- Suitable candidate will be in charge of sharing our reports, flyers and other material on KBNBWorldNews Networks. Sending via e-mail our reports, articles, interviews to our followers. Reporting network reader’s messages to KBNBWorldNews editorial office and posting our answers.

Commitment – This position will require between 15-30 minutes per day, 5 days a week.

Salary and remuneration – In the future, as KBNBWorldNews becomes financially profitable to sustain long term paid employees, this position has significant potential to become a remunerated employment.

Skills. We are seeking a motivated and well integrated person with long term prospects who will require to show qualities as below:

Methodical and with a strong attention for detail.
Knowledge of digital social media platforms and networks such Facebook, Twitter, · Google Plus, Instagram, Telegram, Reddit.
Ability to follow instructions and approach tasks with clear vision.
Ability to organise time for planned tasks independently, and keep a diary of schedule .
Good interpersonal relationship capability, friendly, and able to work with global outlook.

Desirable skills:

Knowledge of at least one of these languages: Spanish, Italian, French *.
French speaking people must be fluent in one of these languages: English, Spanish or Italian.

2) DONOR RELATION MANAGER AND FUNDRAISER

KBNBWorldNews is looking for an English Speaking Communication and Fundraising Consultant or Associate to help support and grow our capacity and organization.

OUR MISSION: KBNBWorldNews is a global, independent, free, non-commercial media platform that was born in 2016 with the intent on providing objective and ethical information, to stimulate critical thinking and promote reflection on current issues of broad interest.

We publish reports on topics mainstream media does not cover and give voice to the voiceless.

KBNB’s topics are analyzed from various perspectives- political, historical, cultural, psychological…We believe we can’t comprehend our present without understanding our past, other people, our minds and the interconnection among cultures and nations and we believe that ethical people concerned with Truth and Justice have no national or linguistic borders.

We want to embrace and build bridges of cultural understanding. Our reports are currently available in two Western vehicular languages, English & Spanish, and also in Italian to provide information to a wider audience of readers and to overcome cultural and language barriers. Our goal is to create a global community interested in Truth and Justice, the Common Good, the Well being of our Planet, and to break down fear, ignorance and prejudices and to contribute to the creation of a fairer global world, conscious and free.

Job Requirements:

Native English speaker or a person with an English native level.
Excellent English writing and speaking skills.
Experience or strong interest in a career in communication, business development and fundraising.
Desire to succeed- ability or inclination to be an effective fund raiser- if you don’t have much experience, you have to be motivated to learn by your passion for the cause.
Knowledge of digital platforms and networks.

Tasks:

Build a successful fundraising strategy.
Organize, launch and manage our fundraising campaigns across digital platforms.
Manage the online fundraising calendar.
Execute web, email, search and peer-to-peer fundraising efforts.
Make telephone calls (also via Skype and similar) to develop donor relations
Send emails to attract and maintain donors.
Monitor the performance of online and integrated fundraising efforts.
Develop and sustain digital resources to expand KBNBWorldNews’s donor base.
Maximize search engine optimization opportunities to increase digital footprint in donor interaction and engagement.
Analyze alternatives and make recommendations for integrating digital platforms to effectively and efficiently grow revenue.
Develop digital interaction and on-line response campaigns and collect data to expand and improve donor traffic.
Analyze digital fundraising trends, as well as identify opportunities to engage donors in effective and innovative direct fundraising strategies.
Produce reports and analysis for ongoing strategies/tactics.
Recruit other personnel for our communication and fundraising team.

3) EDITORIAL ASSISTANT (Volunteer)

Skills:

A high standard of written and spoken English and good knowledge of Spanish or vice versa.
You will have to work also with texts in Italian, German & French. Ideal if you know a little these languages also (but not necessary).
Attention to detail.
Ability to proofread (English & Spanish).
IT and secretarial skills.
Digital-editing skills and knowledge and experience of social media platforms such as Twitter & Facebook.
Time management skills, including the ability to keep deadlines.
Good if you have experience as an editorial assistant or journalist but it is not an obligatory requirement.
Enthusiasm, interpersonal skills, self-motivation and flexibility.
Being a responsible person.

Tasks:

Supporting editorial staff in all activities leading to publication.
Collating the work of several authors, proofreaders, translators.
Uploading texts to a website/blog, sharing texts in networks.
Proofing, editing and writing online content including via social media.
Dealing with email queries, from writers and the public.
Internet research on our publications and subjects related to them.

4) INTERNET ENGINEERS / WEB GENIUSES (Volunteers)

5) ENGLISH PROOFREADERS (Volunteers)

Tasks:

The ‘job’ consists in reading and making grammar, orthographic and style corrections on the reports and articles produced by KBNBWorldNews.

Skills:

Excelent written English.
Attention to detail, together with the ability to proofread.
Ability to keep deadlines.
Basic IT knowledge such writing softwares like Word, OpenOffice, e-mail.
Good if you have experience as a proofreader, translator, journalist or writer (but not a must if you can prove us you can do this work very well).

High language dominance and fluency.
Ability to keep deadlines.
