ENGLISH. ARE YOU FROM THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE (the Americas), from the North, the Center, the South or the islands? Are you a ‘white mixed-race’ or a ‘quite white mixed-race’ or an ‘obvious mixed-race’ person and you think it’s time for overcoming racial stereotypes, preconceptions and complexes? Do you feel the time has come that no one need feel ashamed of oneself due to their origins anymore?

If this describes you and you believe it’s time to overcome this irrational and harmful indignity about one’s ancestors, contribute with your photograph to KBNBWorldNews photo project.

Undoubtedly miscegenation (the interbreeding of people considered to be of different ethnic types) is a worldwide phenomenon, but in the Western Hemisphere it’s more evident due to it’s colonial history. This interbreeding is an unstoppable, inevitable and faster phenomenon than ever before and is still the cause of many conflicts.

Realizing that a mixed–race society, a mixed-race person or an individual from a non-white ethnicity can also uphold (eurocentric) racism is crucial to a nuanced understanding of the challenge of recognizing and overcoming racism and bias. A discrimination and an emotional state you can contribute to overturn.

The project will favor ‘whiter mixed-race’ people as this is the category that is less easy to detect and represents the kind of miscegenation about which societies talk less. However, the intention of the project is to also include ‘obviously mixed-race persons’ in order to present an exhaustive panorama of the phenomenon.

All people who want to participate are welcome: mixed-race descendants with Native American, European (white, Mediterranean, Slavic..), Black, Middle Eastern, and Asian blood….

Be the change!

Photographs must be at least 8 million pixels.

Send one or two good photos (portraits), including your name, age, country of origin, your city and (if possible) a brief description of your ancestors to: kbnbworldnews@protonmail.com

Men and women over the age of 18 can participate.

Goals of this project are: to draw attention and encourage debate on this topic, to exhibit, publish and diffuse on the media.

The portraits could be digitally edited.

Deadline: photographs will be accepted until Thursday, October 31^st, 2026.

ESPAÑOL. ¿ERES DEL CONTINENTE AMERICANO, del norte, del centro, del sur, de las islas, y eres un ‘mestizo blanco’ o un ‘mestizo bastante blanco’ o un ‘mestizo evidente’ y crees que ha llegado la hora de terminar con los prejuicios y los complejos y de que la gente no se avergüence más de sus orígenes o sea discriminada por el color de su piel o sus rasgos?

Si eres uno de ellos y crees que ya llegó la hora y que avergonzarse de tus antepasados, de lo que eres, es ilógico y dañino, contribuye con una foto tuya al proyecto fotográfico de KBNBWorldNews.

Indudablemente la mezcla étnica es un fenómeno mundial, pero en el continente americano es un fenómeno más evidente debido a su historia colonial. Un fenómeno incontrolable, inevitable y altamente dinámico que aún hoy es causa de muchos conflictos.

Tomar conciencia de que hasta una persona, una sociedad mestiza o un individuo de otra etnia pueden estar permeados de racismo eurocéntrico y vivir avergonzándose de sí mismos es fundamental para comprender el desafío que significa reconocer y superar el racismo y los prejuicios. Una discriminación y estados emocionales negativos que tú puedes contribuir a derrumbar.

Todos los que quieran participar pueden hacerlo: mestizos con sangre india/originaria, asiática, europea (blancos o mediterráneos), africana, medioriental….

El proyecto privilegiará a los mestizos más ‘blancos’ ya que esta es la categoría que más fácilmente puede esconder su mestizaje y de la que menos se habla, pero la intención es incluir también fotografías de mestizos evidentes para poder dar un panorama exhaustivo sobre este fenómeno.

¡Sé protagonista del cambio!

Las fotografías deben ser de al menos 8 millones de píxeles.

Envía una o dos buenas fotos (retratos), indicando nombre, país de origen, tu ciudad, edad y un poco de información sobre tus ancestros a: kbnbworldnews@protonmail.com

Pueden participar hombres y mujeres mayores de edad.

Los objetivos de este proyecto son: llamar la atención y fomentar un debate sobre este tema. La organización de exposiciones, la publicación y difusión en medios de información.

Los retratos podrían ser reelaborados digitalmente por KNP.

Fecha límite para el envío de las imágenes: todas las fotos recibidas hasta el día jueves 31 de octubre de 2026 serán elegibles para participar.

‘El mestizaje BLANCO en el continente americano’ es un proyecto de KBNBWorldNews.

Todas las personas de nacidas o que tienen ancestros nacidos en el continente americano están invitadas a participar.
